Personal identification information
Knead to Relax fully complies with the UK and European Union’s General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) Article 6(f) and Article 9(1). Lawful collection and processing (including the distribution of email and text message appointment confirmations and reminders) of personal health data is only carried out where necessary for medical and health appointment confirmation, evaluation, diagnosis, and treatment purposes. All data collection and processing occurs for the legitimate medical and health interests pursued by Knead to Relax. Personal data collected and processed includes but is not limited to full name, address, contact information, family relations, medical information, diagnosis, and other items as required.
We also collect information supplied by you when purchasing gift vouchers from our third party seller web site (Gift UP) or booking appointments with us through our online booking system (Jane App).
How we use and store collected information
We no longer store paper records for clients. Electronic intake forms are stored on secure servers based in the UK and data is transferred using 256 bit encryption.
Our online booking system Jane App stores client data securely and allows clients to unsubscribe from reminder and appointment related emails as well as marketing emails at any time.
Medical information is collected for our therapists to understand any issues you may be dealing with and to assist them in planning and carrying out your treatment. This information may be passed to a third party, such as ambulance service or other medical professional, in the event of an emergency.
An emergency contact is required should the need arise while with Knead to Relax Massage Therapies.
No medical information is passed on to a third party unless with your express written permission.
All therapists, who we nominate to undertake treatments at our premises, will have access to this information for a limited period to ensure health and safety and access to emergency numbers.
At any point you may request to see, rectify or request copies of your information.
Information supplied for booking appointments with us is shared with our online booking software supplier Jane App. Knead to Relax entrusts Jane with the processing of personal data for the purpose of booking visits for our customers.
Jane will process the following customer data as part of the provision of Services: first name, last name, phone number, email address, information about making a booking for a visit to Knead to Relax, type of visit, visit description, customer description, client intake forms, treatment records and billing information. Changes to these privacy notices
Knead to Relax Massage Therapies has the discretion to update these privacy notices at any time. When we do, we will revise the updated date at the bottom of this document. We encourage Users to frequently check this page for any changes to stay informed about how we are helping to protect the personal information we collect. You acknowledge and agree that it is your responsibility to review these privacy notices periodically and become aware of modifications.
